2dice was founded in 2005 by Juliette S Dalton. Juliette graduated from Camberwell College of Arts, UAL with a BA in painting where she specialised in photography and film coming from a photo realistic portrait painters background. While still at college, she started her career managing a photographic lab/studio in Peckham called the Dairy Studio and as Head manager of the promotional team at the Saatchi Gallery. On the side she started filming rappers in the basement of Speakers Corner Hiphop nights, at Jam Bar in Brixton, South East London venue. She then moved on to running a Jazz/Afro beat label called 12 tone along side United Vibrations, brother band to Yussef Dayes and Wayne Francis from Steam down and helped with managing the artist on the Label.
She was soon scouted to be a manage Speech Debelle signed to Bigdada/Ninja Tunes the year leading up to Speech winning the Mercury awards, whilst still producing electric press kits for musicians in the depths of the South Londons music scene and as a tour manager. She also worked closely to Roots Manuva working with his collective Banana Klana and Dave Okumu’s band The Invisibles filming content for their events and releases.
She then was recruited as a freelancer to work in advertising in 2012, where she created behind the scenes content through stills and filming. This was a really good fit she enjoyed every aspect of it and Juliette branched out to focus only in this area and took a step back from the music industry but still used producers to create soundtracks for her BTS films.
13 years later working in advertising she has created a niche for her company after working with over 50 reputable brands in the industry. She is a director, self shooter, editor and photographer and enjoys working on a project from start to finish.
Through her painterly eye, attention to detail, clear direction, sensitivity and discretion to her subjects, clients and the main unit on set she is able to add value to your shoot by creating a vast amount of social content and really maximising the shoot, creating GIFs, stills, adverts and behind the scenes of the TVC/Commercial.
